Tentec’s Wind Energy Division is pleased to announce it has received a major order for the Aero range of tensioners from India. Working together with its agent, Gemini Power Hydraulics Pvt Ltd, Business Manager Roy Sheldon travelled to India and secured an order for a range of WTB tensioners.
“We have worked hard to establish our global presence and are delighted with our progress.” explains Roy. “Gemini received an enquiry from a new wind turbine production company and I subsequently accompanied them on the sales visit. Our tools were chosen for their innovation, robustness and ability to do the job.”
Fully aware of the difficulties associated with wind turbine blade tensioning, the new Tentec Aero WTB is a purpose designed range of hydraulic bolt tensioning tools to suit most wind turbine bolting applications. All WTB tensioning tools have the capacity to achieve the specified proof load requirements as detailed in EN ISO 898-1:1999 and ASTM A490M for grade 10.9 Bolts. These feature packed tensioners have been designed with rapid tensioning in mind and offer a safe, reliable and consistent method to simultaneously tension many bolts.
