From October 5-7, 2010 SGS will be one of the exhibitors at the North American Offshore Wind Conference & Exhibition 2010. At stand no. 313, SGS experts will be demonstrating the wide range of services available for the wind energy industry, including Commissioning and In-Service Inspection, Technical Due Diligence and Risk Management.

SGS, the world’s leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company, is one of the exhibitors at the North American Offshore Wind Conference & Exhibition in Atlantic City. The services offered by SGS Renewable Energy will be presented throughout the exhibition at stand no. 313.

As the national trade association for the wind industry, the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) organizes educational events that capture the vitality of the rapidly expanding wind energy market and offer great opportunities for organizations to learn and network with fellow wind professionals.

One of AWEA’s main events is the North American Offshore Wind Conference & Exhibition. This event will provide a big picture of the North American offshore wind market, highlighting the latest policy and technical developments. Moreover, the conference will identify development opportunities throughout the coastal regions of North America, financing options and challenges, plus project design and siting options. This event brings together exhibitors and attendees from all over world who are interested and involved in the wind energy market.

For SGS Renewable Energy the event presents a great opportunity to present its services for the wind energy sector, including In-Service Inspection, Technical Due Diligence and Risk Management, to the international audience.

Commissioning and In-Service Inspection offered by SGS includes condition monitoring, oil analysis and a variety of technical inspections, in order to ensure that the condition of the wind farm is maintained over time and that the project certificate remains valid.
