All OEMs have confirmed participation / Industry presents high-performance technology and innovations / New hall concept / Ticket shop online as of 17 June
HUSUM | 17 June 2021. The decision has been made: HUSUM Wind 2021 will take place as scheduled from 14-17 September – and this onsite. For the first time since the outbreak of the pandemic in spring 2020, it will be possible to host an important trade fair for the wind and renewable energy sector as an on-site event.
“We are delighted to be able to offer the industry a real trade fair experience with personal contacts in September, while complying with the applicable hygiene regulations,” said Klaus Liermann, CEO of Messe Husum & Congress, after the supervisory board meeting this week. Around 90 percent of the exhibitors, including all OEMs, confirmed their participation after the concept for HUSUM Wind 2021 had been presented. In September, the industry will then have the opportunity to present technical innovations and new products live and on site for the first time in one and a half years.
New plan for the halls: Halls 1 and 2 are combined as one new large hall directly at the main entrance and aligned lengthways. This will ensure that visitor flows are efficiently guided along the full length of the hall in a one-way system.
From 17 June, the online ticket shop will open on the fair portal www.husumwind.com/en. Due to the pandemic, tickets will be sold online-only. There will be admission slots and ticket contingents for each day of the fair enabling the monitoring of visitor flows.
