Ken Søerensen, CEO at ALL NRG, dropped in to tell us about the developments at the company. More companies are likely to join ALL NRG in the future, providing easier contacts for the customer. He is looking forward to a boom over the next two years.
PES: Welcome to PES Wind magazine. Thanks for talking with us. Would you like to begin by explaining a little about the background of your organisation and how you currently serve the wind industry?
Ken Søerensen: ALL NRG has been created over the last two years by the acquisition of four companies, each with a long and strong track-record. We want to be recognised as a strong sub supplier to the energy industry. The wind sub supplier industry is still quite fragmented and our customers are telling us that they would like to consolidate their supplier base. This is our opportunity. Today, the 800 employees of ALL NRG create a turnover of around 100M USD and our ambition is to substantially grow our business in the coming years!
We work broadly in the energy industry currently focusing on two sectors: Oil & Gas and Wind. Within the wind sector the majority of our business is related to offshore.
In the wind sector we serve both turbine OEMs and turbine owners – ranging from the largest utilities to owners of individual turbines. We provide a broad set of services ranging from man power for mechanical and electrical turbine pre-assembly, erection and commissioning over turbine and foundation maintenance and balance of plant service to quality assurance, quality inspection and technical inspection of turbines.
