Anders Paulsson CEO of DIAB has requested to step down from his position as CEO and Lennart Hagelqvist will take over as CEO for DIAB Group.
Lennart is currently at Perstorp where he has been an Executive Vice President since 2007 and was previously also EVP Operations. He is 53 years old and has broad experience of both production- and market-oriented international operations, including Kemira, ABB, Stora Enso and Aker. Lennart will take up his position on the third of May and succeed Anders Paulsson who has been CEO of DIAB since 2003. Anders Paulsson will continue to be committed to DIAB as an advisor.
“Lennart has many years of experience of developing and building successful international operations where conditions have sometimes been challenging. In our opinion, his experience combined with his personal qualities make him highly suitable as CEO of DIAB. We in the board are convinced that Lennart, together with the management group and other employees, will continue to develop DIAB’s offering and manage the challenging business environment which has affected the company over the past year,” comments DIAB’s Chairman Stig Karlsson.
“Anders Paulsson has made a very valuable contribution to DIAB during his nine years as CEO. Under his strong leadership and innovative efforts, DIAB became established in new, growing markets and created a unique total offering. When Anders now wishes to leave his executive role, it is valuable that we will continue to have access to his knowledge of the company and the market,” Stig Karlsson continues.
