Althen BV signed an exclusive distribution agreement for the Benelux with the German sensor specialist ASC in January, in addition to the previous signed exclusive distribution agreement for Germany with sister company Althen GmbH. ASC is a manufacturer of high-quality acceleration sensors, gyroscope sensors (IMUs) and inclination sensors and produces all its products in Germany.
ASC Sensors are used in industries such as the railway, civil engineering, automotive, process automation, (sustainable) energy and aviation. The sensors are used for test & measurement of components, machines, structures and vehicles. “We are very happy that we can expand our product portfolio with the high-quality sensors from ASC. We always look for partners who, together with us and the customer, can also offer customized solutions. ASC is a perfect partner, because flexibility is essential for both of us, “says Thijs Haselhoff, managing director of Althen BV.
The transfer of exclusive distribution rights for the Benelux countries is a new milestone in the successful collaboration between the two medium-sized companies. “It was very important for us to find a sales partner that fits our business philosophy,” says ASC CEO Renate Bay about the new partnership. “Like us, Althen values customer focus, flexibility and innovative sensor solutions.”
