Geislingen-Binsdorf, 15.08.2023 – Simon Schweda started at Solar-Log GmbH on 1 August and took over product management at the energy management professional.
Simon Schweda, who previously worked as Chief Product Officer at EnBW’s “Virtual Power Plant”, is looking forward to his new responsibilities. “What appeals to me most at Solar-Log is the possibility of extensive networking of physical plant technology and the virtual energy market. It is precisely this connection that will determine in the future whether we create a functioning energy system for everyone involved. At Solar-Log we already have a very good basis with diverse product solutions, a globally distributed portfolio and a great team behind it. Perfect conditions to create much more in the future!”
At EnBW, Simon Schweda helped set up the “virtual power plant” or Interconnector GmbH. EnBW’s virtual power plant bundles a wide variety of assets such as electricity generators (including PV, wind, hydropower, CHPs), electricity consumers and flexibilities (e.g. battery storage) and networks them with each other. All participants, including smaller ones, thus gain easy access to the complex energy industry and can use all marketing channels. Simon Schweda brings with him a high level of expertise and enormous knowledge in the areas of energy management and marketing. From which the further development of the energy management system will benefit.
Holger Schroth, CPO/Managing Director at Solar-Log GmbH, “I am delighted to have gained an excellent addition to our team in Simon. He will significantly strengthen our competences in the field of energy management and take over a considerable part of my tasks in the product team. With his ideas and drive, he will continue to advance Solar-Log so that we can continue to offer our customers the best product for their needs and the energy market of the future.”
