Richard has more than 25 years of experience in construction, business development, operation management and asset investment of industrial, commercial and infrastructural projects. Prior to joining Aquila Capital, Richard was Managing Director of Vena Energy Taiwan, responsible for asset development, investment, construction and operations in Taiwan, has successfully developed over 500 MW of solar assets.
Richard also held senior management leadership positions in multinational group companies and construction companies, including B&W Construction Engineering and Development Corporation in Canada, Goldsun Group of companies in Taiwan, responsible for project development and construction in Canada, China, Vietnam and Taiwan. Experiencing construction of factory buildings, commercial buildings, green energy residences, resort hotels as well as involving industrial park development, residential complex design/budgeting, entertainment theme park design/development, and real estate projects development & investment.
Richard holds double Master degrees, in mechanical engineering from Louisiana State University in the United States and civil/environmental engineering from State University of New York at Buffalo.
