With over 14 years of experience in renewable energies, in particular solar, Liu brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role.
Liu’s extensive background in the solar industry includes positions at Neo Solar Power in Taiwan, SunSpark in the US, and Vena Energy in Singapore, where he served as General Manager. He holds a Master of Science in Technology Leadership from Brown University in Providence, US, and a Master’s degree in Renewable Energy and Sustainability Systems from Penn State University.
As REC Group expands its presence in Taiwan, Liu’s appointment comes at a crucial time. The company has been operating in the market for 10 years, offering a robust Channel Program that supports distributors and REC certified installers. The company initially introduced its legendary REC Peak Energy Solar panels to the market and has since continued to set new technology benchmarks, including its advanced REC Alpha HJT technology today.
