05.09.2022 – LONGi, the world leader in solar technology, is adding another half-cut cell module version to its successful HiMO5 product range. Developed specifically for European markets, it is based on the global standard M10 wafer size and features 66 cells and a new frame design. With the new design, installers have the added option to position modules horizontally as well as vertically, with brackets that can attach to both the shorter sides of the frame and the longer ones. This flexibility allows for the maximising of available space when installing large systems on roofs and on the ground. Options for fixing the shorter sides of other modules that are the same size or bigger are usually limited. At the very least, the installation process takes a lot longer and involves more materials. This adaptable version of LONGi’s HiMO5m module changes that.
