For five days in September, the 26th European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition (EU PVSEC) will bring together experts from science and industry for the biggest PV event of 2011.
For many years now, the European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition has combined a renowned international scientific conference with a leading PV industry exhibition and trade fair. Every year, over five days of conference and four days of fair, new products and technical innovations from all areas of photovoltaics and from all over the world are on show.
The 26th EU PVSEC highlights progress in research, technological development and production processes, bringing together all key specialists of the industry to make it the most informative platform for the global PV Solar sector.
The conference will take place from 5th to 9th September 2011 at the CCH – Congress Centre and International Fair Hamburg in Germany. It will be the most important international conference in the field of photovoltaics this year.
Following the review of the 1,728 abstracts applying for presentation, the International Scientific Committee, made up of 185 leading experts from the global PV community, has composed the programme of this world’s largest photovoltaic solar energy conference, and will host over 1,500 presentations over the course of the event. 82 sessions with 28 plenary, 326 oral and more than 1,200 visual poster presentations takes this international PV conference to the next level. In seven keynote presentations, high ranking speakers from international research facilities and from the global PV industry give an overview and outlook on the latest technologies and future challenges of photovoltaics.
