A Yorkshire solar power company has partnered with the world’s leading designer and manufacturer of off-grid and renewable energy products.
Established in 2009 by Leeds-based entrepreneur Ian Emberton, Xerogrid will deliver USA-based OutBack Power Technologies’ comprehensive installer training programme to a network of OutBack customers in the UK.
As OutBack Power’s official UK service partner and supplier since 2016, Xerogrid will offer technical and sales support to installers of OutBack Power products.
With eight years industry experience in the renewable energy sector, Xerogrid supply off-grid power solutions to commercial and domestic customers across the UK, Spain and Africa.
The new initiative will see the recently declining solar industry, following Government cuts to feed-in-tariffs, soar again, as traditional solar installers are trained in specialist off-grid solutions.
The training days, which are scheduled to take place in Autumn 2017, will incorporate OutBack Power’s range of renewable energy products, providing attendees with the opportunity to view and ask questions about the specialist equipment.
OutBack Power creates powering solutions for the communication, commercial, industrial, and renewable energy markets and has pioneered many of the technologies that have become industry standards for power conversion technology worldwide.
Commenting on the partnership, Ian Emberton, founder and managing director of Xerogrid said:
“We’re proud to be able to offer a new cohort of installers the opportunity to gain essential knowledge about off-grid solar installations. Our passion lies with giving the power back to the people and we’re working hard to ensure natural fuel sources become much more accessible to the general population. Renewable energy is a viable alternative to more traditional methods of generating electricity and we’re passionate about educating others in how to connect to off-grid solutions. Working in collaboration with OutBack will allow us to do this, providing the technical support and assistance that is necessary for people to maintain their own renewable energy solutions.”
Juan Antonio Espada, Europe Sales Manager at OutBack Power added:
“We are very happy to collaborate with Xerogrid. Ian and his team are providing an excellent customer support with full engineering services including project management and after sales service, as part of his efforts to support our customers in UK.”
Xerogrid formed as Ian E Energy in 2014 and, having experienced phenomenal growth, has recently re-branded to extend their service specialism across the globe.
