WindEnergy Hamburg will be opened next Tuesday, 27 September, by Sigmar Gabriel, Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy, and Vice Chancellor of Germany. The world’s leading expo for wind energy will be held for the second time in Hamburg, from 27 to 30 September. More than 1,200 exhibitors will present their innovations for the onshore and offshore industry during the four days of the expo. This year the specialist conference WindEurope Summit will be held in parallel to WindEnergy Hamburg for the first time (from 27 to 29 September).
Economics Minister Sigmar Gabriel, who has taken on patronage of WindEnergy Hamburg, will underscore the importance of the wind industry in the course of the combined opening ceremony for the world’s leading expo and the conference at CCH – Congress Center Hamburg, before an audience of high-ranking international guests and representatives of industry and government. Other speakers include EU Energy Commissioner Maroą ©efčovič, Vice-President of the European Commission.
From Tuesday to Friday, the site of Hamburg Messe und Congress will be the meeting point for experts from the energy sector from all parts of the world. WindEnergy Hamburg is the showcase for the global industry, for dialogue and presentation of their new products, innovative technologies and services. The world’s leading wind industry expo covers the whole of the value chain, onshore and offshore. Companies from 34 countries will be exhibiting. The 16 national pavilions each give a combined overview of the products and services of their respective countries, from Denmark to China. Trade visitors and delegations of the greatest business policy relevance are expected from all over the world.
