Solar module series WST-XXXNGX-D3 and WST-XXXNGXB-D3 certified
Creglingen, 23.01.2025 – The solar module manufacturer WINAICO is pleased to announce the certification of the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for two of its solar module series: WST-XXXNGX-D3 and WST-XXXNGXB-D3 series have been certified.
The Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is an important tool for objectively and transparently communicating the environmental impact of a product. It is based on a life cycle analysis (LCA) that documents all the environmental impacts of a product over its entire life cycle – from raw material extraction and production through to use and disposal.
The International EPD® System, one of the world’s most recognised platforms for the publication of environmental product declarations, is an independent, global initiative to promote sustainability and transparency in product assessment.
“The EPD certification of our WST-XXXNGX-D3 and WST-XXXNGXB-D3 solar module series is a further step in our commitment to provide environmentally friendly and sustainable solutions for the solar industry,“ says Marc Ortmanns, Director Operations at WINAICO Germany. “With this certification, we provide our customers with detailed and trustworthy information that enables them to make the best decisions for their environmental and climate goals.“
By publishing the EPD in the International EPD® System, WINAICO’s customers now have a clear and verifiable overview of the environmental impact of the two solar module series.
