- Two trade shows in the world’s third largest photovoltaics market
- Local presence strengthened by sales partner IMC
Wiesbaden, Germany, September 19, 2018 – VITRONIC, a global leader in industrial machine vision, is driving the photovoltaics market in India forward. As recently as the beginning of this year, VITRONIC entered into a partnership with the Indian photovoltaics company, IMC. Between now and the end of the year, the Wiesbaden-based company will exhibit at two leading photovoltaics trade shows in India: Renewable Energy India Expo (REI) in Pradesh in September and Intersolar in Bangalore/Karnataka in December.
India is the third-largest photovoltaics market in the world. With big projects and state subsidy programs in the pipeline, all signs are pointing towards growth in the coming years also. Quality and efficiency in the production of photovoltaics solutions are important factors for the sustainable development of the PV industry. This is where automatic optical inspection systems play a key role.
With more than 2,000 installed systems, VITRONIC has built a strong partnership with the PV industry. The VINSPEC SOLAR portfolio offers tried and tested automatic optical inspection (AOI) systems for PV production, from start to finish. Furthermore, PV manufacturer can use the data acquired during the inspection process in a variety of ways, for example, to optimize processes and achieve higher output.
“The Indian photovoltaics market is one of the most exciting emerging markets,” explains Richard Moreth, Head of PV Sales at VITRONIC. “Our inspection systems offer the highest level of product quality with maximum efficiency—and that is what forms the foundation for a successful position in the market.”
