Three solar parks for a cumulative 13.54 MWp capacity built in UK with AEG solar modules


AEG Polycrystalline solar modules were deployed in three ground-mounted, utility-scale installations in the UK with a cumulative installed capacity of 13.54 MWp

Nürnberg, June 15, 2016 – Around 53,000 AEG solar modules, an overall capacity of 13.54 MWp were supplied by Solar Solutions PV GmbH for the building of three large solar parks in UK in the rst half of 2016. The three solar parks are located in the provinces of Gloucestershire, Fife and Leicestershire and were built ahead of April 1, 2016.

AEG polycrystalline modules with 60 cells and with a power output of 255 Wp and 265 Wp were deployed for the projects. The two solar parks located in Gretton and Wormit have a capacity of 4.928 MWp and 4.965 MWp respectively. The third park (3.652 MWp) is located in Stanton under Bardon. All three plants are currently open for investment.

CTF Solar (owned by CTIEC, part of CNBM Group) acquired the project rights for the three parks and acted as co- developer and main EPC working together with local partners.
