Less plastic consumption with the new hardware generation for Solar-Log™
Sustainability in day-to-day operations is an important goal.
That’s why we constantly check all processes, from development through to production. Small, higher-performance, more environmentally friendly. The new Solar-Log™ products also benefit nature. Thanks to these products, Solare Datensysteme GmbH (SDS) now uses just a fraction of the plastic for its production processes of what was needed before. With the aid of the new Base generation of hardware products alone, Solar-Log™ can save up to 90 per cent of the plastic that was previously required – this is a milestone achievement! In the “old” data loggers, there were 370 grammes of plastic, while with the new Solar-Log™ generation, this proportion has been significantly reduced to just 51 grammes for the Solar-Log Base. This is a big success, and of course, we won’t stop there. We continue to work on improving environmental balance – every day.
