Solar-Log 370 nominated for Intersolar Award

The Solar-Log 370, an advanced PV monitoring and power management device, has been selected as a finalist for an Intersolar AWARD in the “Photovoltaics” category, presented to companies with innovative products with high added-value for users and society.

Bethel, CT, May 4, 2016: The new Solar-Log 370 has been selected as a finalist for an Intersolar product award in the “Photovoltaics” category. The Intersolar AWARD is presented each year by the organizers of Intersolar to companies with innovative projects with high added-value for users and society. The Solar-Log 370 is an advanced residential solar PV monitoring device with grid feed-in control, specifically designed for the U.S. market. This residential revenue grade meter combines the market leading Solar-Log® monitoring technology into GE’s popular 1-210+ meter. The result is a highly accurate and robust monitoring and power management device which provides feed-in control with most major inverter brands.

Over the years, this Intersolar AWARD has given solar companies a unique platform to distinguish themselves from the competition and prove just how innovative they really are. “The integration of the proven Solar-Log® PV monitoring technology into the GE socket meter has catapulted the Solar-Log 370 to the top of its North American residential PV monitoring competitors”, said Anton Kaeslin, President of Solar Data Systems, Inc. “It measures PV power revenue-grade, can control inverter generated power, and monitor all major inverter operations simultaneously. Moreover, the Solar-Log 370 maximizes residential PV plant performance by comparing the generated power to either a solar irradiance sensor, produced power from nearby plants, open source performance databases (such as PVWatts), as well as to weather satellite irradiance information in real time. Plant owners, installers, and investors will be able to take advantage of this leading edge Solar-Log® PV monitoring solution.”
