The renewable energy markets of Africa have been experiencing increasing demand with continued development and this provides exciting opportunities and challenges for the renewable energy industry.
The Wind Power Conference, to be held at the Cairo Ramses Hilton Hotel in Egypt, will take place on December 13th and 14th, with interactive workshops to be held on the 12th and 15th. SGS will be holding its presentation on day 2 of the conference, Tuesday 14 December 2010 at 10.30 am.
Organized by IQPC, the annual Wind Power Conference is an important international event for the wind energy industry, where experts annually gather to discuss wind energy industry trends, technological developments and the changing regulatory landscape. This year’s conference will have a particular focus on Africa and many topics are to be covered at the Wind Power conference. These include the outlining of environmental regulations for renewable energy and energy efficiency, the examination of technical components and combined energy sources, an exploration of the latest methods for integrating wind power energy into Africa’s electrical grid and the planning of the design of transmission and distribution networks. Focus will also be given on how to attract and secure international funding.
SGS, with its team of experts and extensive experience, is well placed to discuss the issues facing the wind power industry. Working as an independent global project surveyor, SGS will discuss ways of increasing the efficiency of wind energy projects, from concept to commissioning.
