Eindhoven, The Netherlands, Friday, September 13th, 2019 – SMIT Thermal Solutions announces a reorganization of it’s management team. Following an important order for the CdTe market early this year, the recent business expansion and the relocation to the STS building at Eindhoven Airport, SMIT Thermal Solutions appoints Daan van Hoef as new CEO. He will replace the current CEO Wiro Zijlmans who has resigned from this position for personal reasons. This change will be effective per October 1st.
Daan has successfully contributed to the growth of SMIT in various management roles over the past 10 years. A management team to cover all aspects of the business and to support Daan in his role has also been appointed. “We have grown into a large company with an extensive and impressive product portfolio. Our ambition is to continue on this path and to become the leading supplier of thermal and coating solutions,” says Daan van Hoef.
