Senvion wins orders totalling over 32 megawatts in France

Hamburg/Courbevoie: Senvion SE has concluded three contracts totalling 32.5 megawatts (MW) with three new customers for wind farm projects in France including Boralex, Neoen and Isac-Watts. Senvion will equip the Calmont, Villacerf and Severac-Guenrouët wind farms with a total of 16 turbines from its two-megawatt portfolio that will produce enough electricity to power more than 32,500 households* in France. The installation of the turbines is planned for autumn 2015 and commissioning will take place in winter 2015. Senvion will provide full maintenance of the Villacerf and Severac-Guenrouët wind farms for a period of 15 years and of the Calmont wind farm for a period of two years. Following their completion, the three wind farms will save 20,800 tonnes of CO2 emissions every year.

Located in the region of the Midi-Pyrénées, the Calmont wind farm developed by the customer Boralex will consist of seven Senvion MM92 turbines with a rated power of 2.05 MW and a hub height of 80 metres. The Villacerf wind farm, located in the region of Champagne-Ardenne and developed by the customer Neoen, will consist of five Senvion MM100 turbines with a nominal output of 2 MW and a hub height of 80 metres. The third contract, Severac-Guenrouët, a community wind farm, has been signed by Senvion and the customer Isac-Watts. Four Senvion MM92 turbines with a hub height of 100 metres are intended for this wind farm located in the region of Pays de la Loire.
