SeaZip Offshore Service 3 years without lost-time incidents

As the year of 2017 is being evaluated we can proudly publish our safety records. Despite the very difficult operating conditions in the offshore domain we can say that we maintained and improved our excellent safety culture and goals. Since the end of 2014 we did not have any lost-time incident cases.

Jan Reier Arends, managing owner of SeaZip Offshore Service says; ”The offshore market went through the biggest dip since centuries and the loss of personnel and contracts was a result of that. We have been shaping our QHSE culture and goals to even a higher level than our customers are used of us. We learned a lot over the last few years and where possible we implemented procedures and strategies to improve the findings.

Going forward we see a demanding season and in the years to come we believe that there will be a substantial growth in work both in the renewable sector as in the oil & gas domain where vessel access to offshore locations will see some breakthroughs.

The most critical point in Europe will remain the lack of qualified personnel, certainly since Germany introduced measures to safeguard the operations at sea with respect to qualified personnel and we expect other countries to follow their lead. We are heavily investing in our group of CTV captains and crew which will put us in a very strong position to serve our clients with their outstanding projects.

The tide has turned, we are still here and looking forward to work with you.”
