Hamburg-based offshore service provider SeaRenergy has acquired Elbe-1, an engineering company that offers expertise and consultancy for design, certification and approval of offshore wind projects.
Whereas SeaRenergy provides engineering, marine services, QHSE and Offshore Professionals for installation and O&M of offshore windfarms and platforms, Elbe-1 offers specialists and support for the planning of offshore wind farms globally, including but not limited to process of design, certification and permits.
Elbe-1 founder Hagen Heesch remains the Managing Director of the company and will also contribute to the further growth and development of SeaRenergy group in the international offshore wind industry.
