Kelly Becker will take on the challenge of scaling successful growth strategies in support of Schneider Electric’s European operations
London, UK, July 16, 2024 — Schneider Electric, the leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, has announced that Kelly Becker has expanded her role as President of the UK and Ireland to include Belgium and the Netherlands.
Kelly will share her expertise and best practice with the leadership team, led by David Orgaz D’Hollander, Cluster President of Belgium and Netherlands, to drive faster growth and capitalise on the considerable business opportunities in these countries. The changes reflect a senior management model that Schneider Electric has previously employed in Eastern Europe, leading to accelerated growth in the region that culminated in the recent opening of a new smart factory in Dunavecse, Hungary.
Speaking on the new appointment, Kelly Becker, President of UK and Ireland, Belgium and Netherlands at Schneider Electric, said: “Our Belgium and Netherlands business has seen significant growth in recent years, and benefits from strong, local infrastructure and resources. Kelly has spent more than 13 years as a senior leader within Schneider Electric, with a strong focus on strategy and business execution to achieve positive outcomes. She has extensive global experience, previously serving as Country President in Ireland and Vice-President of the Power Solutions Division in the US. During her time in the US, Kelly led strategy and business development for Schneider’s Partner Business with a focus on strategic growth and breakthrough initiatives, market and geographic expansions and internal start-ups. Kelly also serves on the Corporate Advisory Board for the Darden School of Business, is the Deputy Chair of the French Chamber of Great Britain and an Executive Director of British American Business.
