The Rehm team will also reveal solar equipment or the metallization line at the show, being held in Munich from November 10th – 13th.
As the only global soldering equipment supplier delivering both Condensation and Convection as well as Vacuum Soldering Systems, Rehm’s thermal management expertise is unprecedented in its field. One of the highlights on booth A4.341, the company’s VisionXP Convection Soldering System draws on this expertise to unlock a series of operational benefits including process reliability, minimal maintenance and ease of use. At the heart of this system is the breakthrough Pyrolysis technology, being demonstrated live on the Rehm stand. Incorporated in the VisionXP’s residue management system, Pyrolysis shortens long molecular chains to reduce the amount of condensable waste within the process chamber. Operating at approximately 500°C, Pyrolysis ensures a clean and dry reflow system for efficient, environmentally friendly disposal of contamination. A new feature of the VXP is the separately adjustable bottom cooling in the cooling zone for faster cooling, more flexible cooling gradients and prevents warping. A great benefit for your production process shown for the first time at Productronica.
The team at Rehm Thermal Systems will also unveil the company’s VisionXS Convection Reflow Soldering System. VisionXS delivers the very best levels of energy efficiency for complete reliability at the lowest cost of ownership. Featuring a simplified layout and prioritizing outstanding accessibility and repeatable soldering results, the system is characterized by its low consumption values, along with a reliable conveyor and outstanding process stability. Productronica visitors will also be able to see Rehm’s Condenso Condensation Soldering System with vacuum on booth A4.341. Ideal for the complex requirements of lead-free processes, Condenso delivers extremely effective heat transfer for fast and reliable soldering for PCB with large thermal mass. The outstanding medium control system guarantees soldering of difficult boards and tombstone prevention. Vacuum process control leads to reliable void free solder joints and minimizes splattering. Rehm is the first to implement on the process chamber of a convection soldering system a microwave plasma generator. Due to the microwave plasma with the vacuum process it is possible to clean the PCB’s from organic residues and oxides. This results in better wetting conditions, reduces the flux use and guarantees reliable solder joints.
For the first time, Rehm is unveiling a whole host of new firing and drying technologies dedicated to the challenges of the solar sector at Productronica. Among the thermal solutions for metallization on booth A4.341 will be the RDS 2100 Drying System. Equipped with a thermal oxidation unit for lower maintenance times and a conveyor system subdivided between the heating and cooling zones, the system’s advanced process features enable PV manufacturers to reach an entirely new level of efficiency and yield. Rehm’s solar product range is completed by the RFS Fast Firing Furnace, featuring a host of innovative design features to drive an advanced metallization process performance. Characterised by industry-leading low energy consumption and a compact footprint optimising factory floor space while driving down the cost of ownership, the Fast Fire System meets all demands of solar manufacturers.
