The global pioneer, with almost 30 years of experience, aims to meet the growing market demand for longer module life and increased power generation. “Manufacturers are under pressure to deliver high-performance solutions, while installers seek easier application methods that enhance customer satisfaction”, explains Hans Liu, Head of REC Taiwan.
The revolutionary nature of heterojunction cell technology (HJT), which combines crystalline silicon and amorphous thin-film silicon is an innovative approach to more effectively capture sunlight and transfer of electrons, resulting in higher energy conversion rates potential.

REC’s Alpha Pure-R and Pure-RX panels with up to 430 watt-peak, respectively up to 470 wat-peak, offer numerous advantages, including the lowest temperature coefficient at 0.25%. This exceptional feature ensures minimal degradation in hot climate conditions. Additionally, REC’s iconic support bars on the back enable a leading load of up to 7,000 Pascal, providing investors and EPCs with peace of mind regarding long-term performance. It is no surprise that REC is the sole solar panel manufacturer in the market to have received three prestigious Intersolar Awards, known as the Oscars of the solar industry.
To further support installers, REC introduced its renowned REC Solar Professional Program. Initially developed in Europe and expanded to the US and Australia, this program equips installers with a range of marketing and sales tools, streamlining their daily operations and fostering mutual growth with REC.
