PV roof system generates clean energy
Under its Trademark RAVENOL the company develops and tests products of highest quality expectations, like engine oils, industry oils, automobile and truck oils as well as fats, in their highly modern company laboratories. As a future-oriented company the focus lies on the environmental protection as a central and collective aim within the corporate principles. This commitment is proven by certificates according to DIN EN ISO 14001:2009 within the environmental division on a regular basis. Since December 2015 the manufacturer of lubricants, with a 160 kWp PV roof top installation from GILDEMEISTER energy solutions, makes another contribution according to their own corporate principles towards its energy revolution. With the PV roof top installation the company focuses on self-generation of green energy and thus achieves greater independence from increasing energy costs. The PV roof top installation achieves a complete autarky of around 42 %. This saves around 50 % of energy costs every year. Over the entire term of 20 years important economic advantages come around combining the reduction of CO2 emissions of about 1,375 tonnes. In the long term RAVENOLs aim is to be able to control production costs more efficiently.
