Munich, 8 August 2011 – The PV Industry Exhibition of the 26th European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition (26th EU PVSEC), taking place from 5 to 9 September 2011 (Conference 5 to 9 September 2011 – Exhibition 5 to 8 September 2011) in Hamburg, Germany, is fully booked.
Having occupied 65,000 square metres in Hamburg in 2009, the exhibition area for the 26th EU PVSEC was expanded in 2011. Two large additional exhibition halls in section A of the International Fair Hamburg have been integrated to offer a total exhibition space of more than 80,000 square metres in nine exhibition halls. 40,000 PV professionals are expected to attend the industry show.
Due to continuing requests for stand space, a waiting list has been established for any last minutes availabilities.
The spectrum of exhibitors represents the entire PV value chain and includes manufacturers of PV production equipment, manufacturers of photovoltaic solar cells and modules, systems suppliers, companies and organisations specialised in project development, finance and consultancy as well as research institutes. 40 % of the exhibition space has been booked by manufacturers of PV production equipment, representing the largest industry segment at this show; closely followed by manufacturers of PV solar cells and modules.
The same week, over 4,000 representatives from science and research present and discuss the latest trends and developments at the world’s largest PV conference. A total of 1,500 plenary, oral and visual presentations will be held, focusing greatly on the close interaction between science and industry.
This unique PV solar gathering will constitute the world’s leading science-to-science, business-to-business and science-to-industry forum for the global PV Solar sector.
