Positive Energy – EDF EN Greece Cooperation

EDF EN GREECE, awarded the construction of a 1,1 MWp photovoltaic park in Greece to the EPC Contractor Positive Energy

EDF EN GREECE, a subsidiary of EDF EN Group, awarded Positive Energy the supply of equipment, project design and construction of a 1,1 MWp photovoltaic park in the Prefecture of Fokida, Greece. The operation of the plant will have substantial environmental benefits reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 1,500 tons per year, similar to the amount which is produced by a 35,000-tree forest via photosynthesis each year.

As Positive Energy CEO Mr. K. Mavros emphasized: “We are especially pleased to include in our portfolio one more important project. We highly value our relationship with EDF EN GREECE, which puts to practice through its dynamic investment initiatives the corporation’s faith and trust in Greece’s prospects for growth; through the proper exploitation of the country’s inexhaustible natural resources. We aim to become the partner of choice for multinational companies and investors acting in the Greek and Southeastern renewable energy markets.”
