Pasan Wins Industry Renowned Intersolar Award 2012 For Its New Cell Tester Spotlight 1sec

Pasan SA, a member of the Meyer Burger Technology Group, has won the industry-renowned Intersolar AWARD 2012 in the category “PV Production Technologies” for its SpotLIGHT 1 sec cell tester. A leader in photovoltaic (PV) module measurement, Pasan has been recognized for its pioneering expertise in cell testing by an independent panel of judges at the Intersolar Europe 2012 award ceremony.

The SpotLIGHT 1s is a new generation cell tester that addresses the market need to measure cells with the highest possible accuracy while lowering the total cost of ownership (TCO) for customers. The optical design of the machine is based on Pasan’s well-established module tester with its innovative patent pending contact system to ensure customers the most accurate measurement on the market today. The SpotLIGHT 1s has been designed to minimize maintenance thus significantly reducing downtime while the lifecycle of its contacting system is 10 times longer than other systems currently available on the market, thus substantially reducing TCO. The rapid measurement cycle time of one second enables Pasan’s customers to achieve a much higher throughput with the SpotLIGHT 1s than is currently possible.

The cell tester SpotLIGHT 1sec won the Intersolar AWARD 2012 in the category “PV Production Technologies”. Intersolar strives to promote the industry’s power to innovate and its annual Intersolar AWARD recognises pioneering products and services in the international solar industry. The Intersolar AWARD has established itself globally as the industry’s flagship and it was presented to Pasan yesterday during the Intersolar Europe 2012 exhibition in Munich, Germany.
