Exactly on schedule to coincide with the beginning of the repair season, the online distribution platform WINDSOURCING.COM has further expanded its position as the leading global sales portal for product and service offerings in wind energy. Its product range from components, spare parts and repair equipment has further grown to around 15,000 items. Forming part of it now is the entire wind energy product repertoire of the manufacturers Sika for rotor blade repair products and Mita-Teknik for complete control systems of wind turbines. Managing Director Stefan Weber projects an exceedingly positive balance sheet for the first half of 2015.
“We are extremely satisfied with the first half of the year,” is the word from Stefan Weber. “Turnover in the first three months had already attained the previous year’s profit.” He went on to say that WINDSOURCING.COM had managed to acquire new customers, particularly in the important growth markets in Eastern Europe and Asia and to strengthen business relations with them. Additionally the online platform had also been able to adapt its product portfolio of currently around 250 supply partners with two further reputable manufacturers: “We are very pleased to have Sika and Mita- Teknik on board,” affirms Weber. Mita-Teknik is an internationally active company specialising in complete control concepts for wind turbines, among others control systems, grid connection systems, condition monitoring, load and control optimising, and sensors.
