MAG’s Renewable Energy business unit has been selected for a turnkey project. The machine tool company and technological market leader will deliver a turnkey 30-MW system for photovoltaic modules to Poland from its production facility in Schaffhausen (Switzerland).
MAG has many years of know-how in the field of automated solutions for the production of solar modules and wind turbine systems, brought together in MAG’s Renewable Energy business unit with dedicated teams in Schaffhausen and Hebron/Kentucky (USA). This comprehensive expertise will now benefit Solar-Energy sp.z o.o. in BoŜepole Wielkie, around 60 kilometers northwest of Danzig. MAG will provide the Polish company with complete turnkey systems for the production of photovoltaic modules from crystalline silicon. The 30-megawatt turnkey system will be designed and assembled at MAG in Schaffhausen (Switzerland). Solar-Energy will be producing the first photovoltaic modules on the new MAG system as early as in the summer of 2011.
