“Matthias Ruh is the ideal addition to the ASD Sonnenspeicher management team. He has a great deal of experience in selling innovative, high-tech products to the international market, and possesses excellent knowledge of the global photovoltaics and energy storage sector. I am delighted to have him on board to help us expand our business,” explains Wolfram Walter, inventor of the ASD solar storage system and co-founder of ASD Automatic Storage Device GmbH together with Gerd Knoll.

“In my opinion, ASD Sonnenspeicher is one of the most promising storage system manufacturers on the market, having developed from an innovative start-up to a growing company. I am very much looking forward to promoting ASD’s expansion outside of Germany,” reports Matthias Ruh.
ASD develops and produces energy storage systems for various applications – from storage solutions for family homes and larger devices for commercial enterprises to large-scale storage systems for megawatt projects. ASD received the German Renewables Award in autumn 2013 for its innovative storage technology.
