DEICHMANN is installing a 605 kWp system, supplied by the Ravensburg photovoltaic specialist, on the roof of its logistics center in Soltau, where the MAGE POWERTEC PLUS modules will generate over 540,000 kWh of green electricity per year.
Ravensburg (Germany), November 22, 2011 – MAGE SOLAR AG, part of the global MAGE GROUP, has supplied a 605 kWp photovoltaic system for the DEICHMANN logistics center in Soltau, Lower Saxony. On a flat roof area of 11,600 square meters, over 2,600 polycrystalline MAGE POWERTEC PLUS modules with a power rating of 230 watt each generate around 540,000 kWh of solar energy.
The modules were installed with the MAGE SAFETEC FLEX mounting system which was designed specifically for the requirements of flat and foil-covered roofs. Due to the extremely lightweight construction, with a distributed load of less than 10 kilogram per square meter including modules, the building statics are not affected. Without penetrating the roof membrane and with low ballasting only in peripheral areas, the mounting system provides exceptional stability even in the highest wind load zones due to its aerodynamic construction.
The installation of the system was carried out by Sunrider Solar GmbH from Nortorf, a very experienced MAGE POWERPARTNER.
