The German based brand supplier of photovoltaic systems and components provided MAGE POWERTEC PLUS modules for a solar energy system on the roof of a 50-story skyscraper in the borough of Manhattan in New York.
Ravensburg (Germany), February 22, 2012 – MAGE SOLAR, part of the global MAGE GROUP, supplied MAGE POWERTEC PLUS modules for a 122 kWp photovoltaic system on the roof of a 50-story skyscraper in the heart of Manhattan. More than 650 modules are at a height of 225 meters and are consequently part of one of the highest elevated photovoltaic systems in the world. The system is also the largest in Manhattan, with an output of 122 kWp.
This example demonstrates that the installation of a photovoltaic system is possible on almost all roofs – even on high-rises. MAGE SOLAR provides individual solar energy systems with suitable installation solutions for flat and film roofing as well as roof-integrated and roof-mounted systems.
