In the future, the MAGE POWERTEC PLUS modules of the system full-service provider will be tested in co-operation with the independent certification firm Underwriters Laboratories (UL).
Ravensburg (Germany), June 3, 2011 – MAGE SOLAR, part of the global MAGE GROUP, starts long-term co-operation with Underwriters Laboratories (UL) for the certification of its MAGE POWERTEC PLUS modules. The co-operation allows a faster certification process, because UL is capable of conducting a joint review of the necessary standards for both the European as well as the US Amercian market.
Aside from the module certifications required for admission to the market, additional tests such as for example yield tests at low-light conditions are performed for a regular review of the high quality and performance standards of the MAGE POWERTEC PLUS modules.
“The reliability and sustainability of our products are secured with our own quality management as well as the controls by international test institutions. The co-operation with UL allows us to conduct our rigorous quality testing even more efficiently”, explains Markus Feil, CEO of MAGE SOLAR AG.
The first test series of MAGE SOLAR AG in co-operation with UL are scheduled to be performed as early as in June.
