Maersk Training will be supporting the offshore wind industry at the Offshore Wind North East 2017 Conference and Exhibition on Thursday 9 November 2017 in County Durham.
Hosted by NOF Energy, in partnership with Energi Coast, representatives from the Offshore Wind industry will be meeting at Hardwick Hall Hotel in Sedgefield, to hear from some of industry’s key players and network with fellow offshore wind supply chain companies, as part of a week of activity in the North East of England coinciding with RenewableUK’s national Offshore Wind Week initiative on 6 – 10 November 2017.
Conference attendees will hear presentations from developers including DONG Energy as well as contractors and suppliers involved in offshore wind. A series of panel discussions, featuring well-known companies operating in the sector such as JDR, Maersk Training, MPI Offshore, ORE Catapult, Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, SMD and representatives from the Dogger Bank project will discuss a range of topics including innovation, technology and diversification.
The event also provides networking opportunities with VIP guests from the UK and overseas, with delegates invited to an evening reception on Wednesday 8 November 2017 to hear a welcome address by Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, the Networking Reception Sponsor.
NOF Energy, working with Invest North East England and Tees Valley Combined Authority have also organised a series of site visits during the week to showcase the capabilities and expertise of key North East supply chain companies.
