New Orleans, April 23, 2024: The German Wind Industry and Hydrogen Association WAB e.V. will present the “German Pavilion” from April 23 – 25, represented by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection in cooperation with the Trade Fair Committee of German Business (Stand 2143). Visit us and discuss the current topics of offshore wind energy and green hydrogen with us. “Stronger together” is the WAB motto and program for the coming days!
“With our first appearance at the International Partnering Forum 24 (IPF) in New Orleans, we are strengthening our trade fair activities in Germany and abroad, in addition to the already firmly established WAB appearances at WindEurope in Copenhagen and Bilbao, WindEnergy in Hamburg and Husum Wind. For the third time, we will be representing the “German Pavilion”, represented by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection. With the combined expertise of co-exhibiting WAB member companies and associations, we are representing the topics of offshore wind energy and green hydrogen,” explains WAB e.V. Managing Director Markus Nölke.
“8.2 Consulting AG is delighted to be part of the German delegation at the IPF in New Orleans at the most important US offshore conference and trade fair. We will be there to demonstrate how we can use our 18 years of offshore experience to support projects and customers in the USA,” says Heiko Wuttke, CEO of 8.2 Consulting AG
“The Renewable Energy Hamburg Cluster – EEHH is very much looking forward to the joint appearance in the German Pavilion at IPF 2024. 16 offshore players from northern Germany will be appearing at the leading offshore trade fair in the USA for the first time – a great achievement. EEHH is represented by Astrid Dose, Deputy Head of Office, and Jingkai Shi, Project Manager International Renewable Energy Cooperation.”
“An extremely strong performance by German SMEs at the IPF in New Orleans! The German Offshore Wind Initiative (GOI) is pleased to be able to contribute for the third time at the IPF with many activities to help German companies participate in the offshore wind market in the USA,” explains Prof. Dr. Martin Skiba, German Offshore Wind Initiative GOI
“I am looking forward to IPF 2024 to reconnect with my existing offshore wind network in the US. But also to introduce the American offshore market to the services of KEEN ON WIND and the companies I represent, and most importantly, to continue to help the industry in the US move forward.” Explains Wim Keen, Founder and Director, Keen on Wind windward strategies
For the third time at IPF, we look forward to the opportunity to exchange ideas and collaborate on the multi-faceted aspects of the offshore wind industry to advance the energy transition worldwide. We will be available for a personal meeting at the Schmidbauer stand in the first German pavilion. There, Minka St. James, Head of Business Development, from Schmidbauer GmbH & Co. KG, will talk about her experiences with floating offshore wind turbines from the perspective of a heavy lifting partner and will later take part in a panel discussion on the topic of port infrastructure.
“Steel Inspect specializes in project-integrated quality management and QA/QC in fabrication and erection for the energy sector and offshore wind in particular. Our headquarters are in Germany and we offer our services worldwide,” explains Maik Rienecker, Managing Director of Steel Inspect GmbH. “We already have a lot of experience in offshore wind in the USA and are supporting the expansion of the local and global supply chain for the American projects,” said Robert Speht, Head of Offshore Wind.
“With our established WINDEA USA brand, we have already built up a strong presence in the US market.
