Jenoptik’s Lasers & Material Processing division presents its new products for the efficient solar cell processing at the 26th EU PVSEC

The Lasers & Material Processing division of Jenoptik presents its product portfolio for micro-material processing of crystalline solar cells from 5th to 8th of September, 2011 at the European leading trade fair of the photovoltaic industry – the 26th European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition – in Hamburg, hall A1, booth B9.

The latest generation of the JENOPTIK-VOTAN Solas Multi product line goes into series production. In recent years, a large number of factories for the production of thin-film solar modules has been built on a global scale.

The quest for higher module efficiency is never ending. To this end, new, more efficient and more favourably priced production technologies are tried and tested and their impact on the entire production process assessed. This is particularly the case with laser and structuring processes. As a result of this, the demand for lab-scale and pilot production systems processing thin-film solar modules of large format, which can then be used as full-fledged machines in real production environments is growing. Jenoptik´s Lasers&Material Pocessing division has set itself the task and is presenting at PV SEC 2011 the newest and globally unique machine generation of JENOPTIK-VOTAN Solas Multi.
