2013-06-21, Freudenstadt/Munich. The SCHMID Group strengthens its Eurasia business and announces at Intersolar Europe the sales of three module lines to Turkey. The semiautomatic lines with a total of 150MWp production capacity will be delivered in the second half of 2013.
Günter Bauer, Vice President of SCHMID’s module business unit, predicts business success for Turkish module manufacturers: “They benefit from an attractive local market and the easy access to Middle Eastern and South-Western Asian markets. Furthermore with the imposition of anti-dumping duties on Chinese modules, their market position in Europe is improving”.
