Siemens continues the collaboration with Intergraph and the adoption of the SmartPlant ® Enterprise portfolio by renewing the existing GAA contract HUNTSVILLE, Ala.,
August 7, 2012 – Intergraph® announces the extension of the existing Global Alliance Agreement with the Energy Sector of Siemens AG for further multiple years. The agreement was first signed in 2005 to standardize worldwide on Intergraph‟s SmartPlant ® Enterprise suite of software and engineering integration technology.
In the last years, Siemens successfully delivered more than 30 projects worldwide using SmartPlant technology with applications ranging from SmartPlant Foundation for information and workflow management to the engineering design tools such as SmartPlant 3D, SmartPlant P&ID, SmartPlant Reference Data and SmartPlant Review.
The signing of the GAA contract continues a successful and prosperous partnership with Intergraph, providing Siemens with efficient support for all engineering processes.
