Ingeteam Inc, a leading solar inverter manufacturer, has supplied the new Ingecon Sun PowerStation U 1.0 MW in Glen Arm, Maryland. The 1.2 MW project came online September, 2013.
The Ingecon Sun PowerStation U is a compact, fully customizable MV solution with up to 1.76 MW. It is comprised of two Ingecon Sun PowerMax U inverters, a step up transformer, switchgear, low voltage distribution panels, auxiliary transformers and monitoring equipment. It is delivered fully furnished for “plug and play” installation on site. These inverters are manufactured at Ingeteam’s new production facility in Milwaukee, WI.
With more than 3 GW of solar PV inverters supplied worldwide, Ingeteam has developed the new Ingecon Sun PowerMax U inverters specifically for the North American market, in compliance with UL 1741. These inverters feature max efficiencies of 98.6%, 1000 Vdc, NEMA 3R protection ratings, DC and AC disconnects, and are available with output power of up to 880 kW.
