– Q CELLS’ Q.ANTUM Technology is used for maximized energy yield

– Hanwha Q CELLS again strengthens its position in the country and sees a promising Q4 business in France

[Aix-en-Provence, France / Thalheim, Germany, 28 November 2014] – Industry & Commerce in France now have the opportunity to buy a Q CELLS full service PV Kit solution. The largest European PV provider, Hanwha Q CELLS, today announced to have started selling the 100 kWp Kit solution to French PV installers in October 2014. Through the kit Hanwha Q CELLS again expands its portfolio as PV solutions provider. “Having already sold the first 100 kWp kits to installers in France, Hanwha Q CELLS has proven its ability to successfully introduce this kind of PV product to the French market,” said Philippe Pflieger, Hanwha Q CELLS’ Head of Sales France.

Even the Q.ANTUM Technology is used – a cell concept Q CELLS has invented and commercialized based on the sophisticated balancing of the whole cell architecture to maximize the energy yield. According to independent researchers, Q.ANTUM Technology holds the world efficiency records for polycrystalline solar cells (19.5%) and 60 cell modules (18.5%)*.The 100 kWp kit for commercial and small industrial roofs includes more than 360 Q CELLS modules with power classes of up to 280 watt-peak (Wp), inverters and a mounting system allowing modules’ installation in portrait or landscape. Multiple orientation options are also available. Monitoring, main AC switch and equipment like ground cable and connectors are also part of the offer. Over one average day in France, the system will produce around 325 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity; over a full year a total of 118.000 kWh will be generated and fed into the grid. The German-headquartered company announced already last June that it should be able to provide a “full system” C&I kit to France’s installers in Q4 2014.
