Grupo Clavijo has presented its products and services in Buenos Aires to a large group of professionals from the solar energy sector. For the Spanish company, Argentina is a strategic market, bearing in mind the growth expectations of photovoltaics in the coming years. Miguel Clavijo, CEO of the Group, explained the company’s capacity in terms of the manufacture, supply and assembly of its solar structures and trackers to those in attendance, emphasising reliability and safety as distinguishing features. Among other noteworthy aspects, he highlighted the R&D&I department, which works to improve the technology of the tracker systems, such as the spherical bearing for its single axis trackers.
With the experience gained from projects carried out in Chile, Uruguay, Panama, Honduras and Mexico, the company now aims to become one of the main suppliers of solar trackers in the Argentinian market.
Grupo Clavijo’s headquarters are located in Viana (Navarre, Spain), with production plants in the USA, Brazil, Chile, South Africa and offices in Chile, the USA, Brazil and Abu Dhabi. To date, it has developed photovoltaic projects that exceed 1.2 GW of installed power in more than 30 countries.
