GOLDBECK Solar announced today that it has started the construction of a 49.7 MWp project near Melksham, Wiltshire. Aside from the Parley Solar Park in Bournemouth with an installed capacity of 37.3 MWp, this will be the largest project to date for the EPC and O&M provider. Schneider inverter technology, S-Energy and Canadian Solar modules are key components of the development. GOLDBECK Solar will be offering full EPC as well as construction finance.
Commenting on future opportunities in the UK and other markets, Joachim Goldbeck, CEO of GOLDBECK Solar, stated, „”After a 37,3-MWp installation which we completed in the UK in 2014, this will be the largest project to date for us. Other initiatives in the UK and other markets are in the pipeline” states Mr. Goldbeck.”
