GES is installing more than 250 MW in the country during 2018
12th September 2018. GES is going to overtake the 2 GW in installation in France during the next few months. After more than a decade serving this market, GES has become a reference in installation in France. The good performance from the GES Installation Team increased the GES customer portfolio in the country, which ensures the activity in the near future.
After the last awarded contracts, GES estimates 256 MW will be added to the France project references. Alberto de Alfonso, Installation Business Unit Director says: “During 2018 the Installation Team is working in more than 1.000 MW in seven different countries. The fourth of these megawatts are located in France, which makes an idea of the significance of the market in this activity”.
GES is working in next year´s backlog and thrusting this year’s track record can be consolidated or even surpassed. Next year is going to be a quite busy one in the installation activity. There are many projects with a connection deadline in the short term in Spain and Mexico, which will make the installation demand grow exponentially. GES has enough resources to satisfy this challenging situation and attend other markets, like the French one, in which recurrent activity makes GES growth every year.
