June 2020. The services provider of renewable energies GES has begun the construction of the photovoltaic plant Huelva 2021 of Alter Enersun. The plant, once finished, will have an installed power of 49.9 MWp, in which 113.686 photovoltaic panels will be installed that will generate yearly 100 GW. The works of constructions of this plant has begun this month (last 23rd of June the company has celebrated the first stone function) and will continue until January 2021. The installation will be operative during the first quarter of 2021.
Huelva 2021 will achieve a reduction of CO2 emission of 90,000 tons per year and will require an investment of 25 million euros. This is the second plant of Alter Enersun in Huelva within the plan to build 400 MW in this Spanish province of a total of 1200 MW , wind and photovoltaic, in Spain. In February of the current year, it inaugurated Huelva 2020, its first PV plant in Gibraleon (Huelva) with and additional 49.9 MWp, and the capacity to reduce CO2 emission by another 100.000 tones per year.
