Future Proof System Management Meteocontrol Presents The Bluelog X Series

Augsburg, 22 May 2014 – meteocontrol GmbH presents their new product family of data loggers at this year’s Intersolar in Munich from 4th through 6th June 2014 for the first time. With presentations at every full hour the specialist for quality services and remote monitoring informs about the topic “Monitoring – second generation” in hall B2, booth 387. The further focus of the fair presentations lies on new products and services in monitoring solutions, feed-in management and direct marketing of PV systems. Also topic of the presentations at the booth will be how consistent quality assurance helps to secure high yields and the measures to be taken.

The new data logger series blue’Log – X series offers a customized and at the same time flexible solution for future requirements of system management. Respective to system size, the basis module blue’Log X-1000, X-3000 or X-6000 will be used. The combination with the X-series extension modules offers operators of industrial line PV systems and PV parks a powerful and future-proof monitoring and control system. For home-line customers meteocontrol is currently developing the M-series focused on optimal regulation for maximizing self consumption part.

Live-regulation through close interconnection of hardware and portal
A trendsetting innovation in the blue’Log X-series displays the optimal networking between datalogger and the portal solutions safer’Sun Professional and Virtual Control Room (VCOM): the blue’Log connects to the meteocontrol servers via internet and establishes a live-connection, enabling the operator to remote control his system directly. The system configuration can be done directly and the system power reviewed based on live-data. Defects can be detected more easily, making commissioning and operation more cost-effective. An additional benefit comes from linking single systems to a virtual power station. Also an energy trade interface enables easy communication with energy trade platforms.

Monitoring and Feed-in Management by experts
For the correct implementation of monitoring and feed-in management meteocontrol offers a wide range of services. The customer can choose single service-modules or order the whole range of planning and realization of feed-in management up to commissioning. Within the scope of international business processes meteocontrol especially accommodates the strongly growing markets in Asia, for example offering the monitoring system safer’Sun Public in Japanese and Chinese already. The safer’Sun App 2.0 for monitoring PV systems is also available in a wide range of languages.

Yield Increase through Direct Marketing
meteocontrol presents another new control tool for direct marketing of photovoltaic energy during this year’s Intersolar. Prerequisite for switching from EEG to market premium model is the option for remote control of the PV system. For this reason meteocontrol devised a second virtual interface between PV system and direct marketer. Without affecting the feed-in management of the network operator, signals for remote control are interpreted and implemented accordingly. Also the statutory requirement of feedback of current feed-in to the direct marketer is met. With the simple addition to the current monitoring system the system operator is able to implement the market premium model with an added increase in investment from management and flexibility bonus.

Solving Technical Problems
For many years now meteocontrol’s team of experts provides support during planning, realization and operation of PV systems, helping to secure yields and therefore the return of investment for investors through comprehensive quality assurance in all project phases. Existing systems also benefit from the technical expertise, for example uncovering problems and providing expert solutions for topics like low yields and PID modules.

meteocontrol GmbH informs the visitors of the Intersolar fair about new products and services on 4th through 6th June 2014 in Hall B2, booth 387.
