Full Circle Wind Services has secured a new full-scope operations and maintenance contract with Netro Energy for West Newton Wind Farm in Cumbria, England, which is wholly owned by Capital Dynamics, the global private asset manager.
The site comprises three Senvion MM82 turbines, each with a capacity of 2.05MW, delivering a total installed capacity of 6.15MW.
Under the contract, Full Circle will provide full-scope O&M support, including blade and major component work, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and 24/7/365 remote monitoring through the company’s control room operations in Amersfoort, The Netherlands. Full Circle’s local North West England service team will be responsible for maintaining the site.
Netro Energy is an affiliate of Capital Dynamics. It provides full-service commercial and technical asset management support to Capital Dynamics’ clean energy platform across the UK and Europe. Capital Dynamics is an independent global asset management firm focusing on private assets, including private equity and clean energy.
Full Circle was selected for its comprehensive, full-scope service model, including in-house blade and major component teams, and its proven experience supporting Senvion turbine technology. The company’s established operational presence in North West England also played a key role in the decision.
Full Circle's current service portfolio in the region includes Caton Moor Wind Farm in Lancashire, Flimby Wind Farm in Cumbria, and High Winds and Mean Moor Wind Farms in Ulverston. The company has established a strong local service presence in the area , providing maintenance and support for Senvion and a range of other turbine technologies.
This contract comes after the announcement of Full Circle’s new UK supply chain strategy and GDS partnership, with the company’s UK-wide portfolio now supported by a robust supply chain network.
