Dutch high-tech Company Eternal Sun, specialized in solar testing equipment, has facilitated the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAS) with a fully equipped Solar Laboratory. This laboratory will enable PAS to engage in both solar-PV and solar thermal testing, and will allow PAS to meet the latest testing standards in the solar industry. Completion of the laboratory will enable Poland to make a qualitative leap forward in the development of PV technologies and certification of these technologies.
Eternal Sun’s Operations Manager, Victor Rijkaart comments: “The installation of this complete laboratory at the brand new location of the Polish Academy of Sciences will enable PAS to test a broad range of solar modules and solar collectors of the latest technology. The successful cooperation between PAS and Eternal Sun has resulted in a perfect completion of this project where all the requirements set by PAS were met.”
Mrs Katarzyna Siuzdak, Head of the Photovoltaic Laboratory at the R&D center of the Polish Academy of Science states: “The new institute of Polish Academy of Sciences, recently built in the heart of Poland, is dedicated to research and development in the field of conversion and storage of renewable energy. Among the many laboratories located there, the solar laboratory is one of the most significant and representative ones. We are very pleased to cooperate with Eternal Sun, who delivered their highly advanced equipment dedicated to testing of both solar thermal and solar photovoltaic technologies to our Institute. This makes our laboratory very well equipped on a global level.”
